Week 3

This started out as a pretty good week. It's the first week in a stretch of three weeks that we get to come to class all five days. We took two days off for Thanksgiving, then we will take two days off for Christmas, and the following week we will take two days off for the New Year. I was looking forward to getting into the swing of the regular routine. That all changed on Wednesday. Some of my students received emails from the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission telling them that they needed to find another school to attend within a few weeks. Apparently a couple of students complained to SACM about the school. It's an unfortunate situation because most of the students here are good students who genuinely want to learn English and have goals for the future. I can only hope for the best. Not only for myself, (I may lose my job) but for the students who have spent so much time working hard.
