Thursday 1/28/16

Good evening, team! You've had a pretty good week so far, keep it going. In recognition of the hard work, and multiple quizzes, this week, I am not going to assign any homework for tonight. The topic of the quiz tomorrow is vaccinations. You can look up information about vaccinations if you wish, but that information will probably not be very helpful tomorrow. Have a good night and be ready for the quiz in the morning.

Wednesday 1/27/16

For homework tonight, please finish any of the questions on your To Build a Fire analysis worksheet. Then, please finish reading the story, making sure to take good and accurate notes. When you complete the story, please complete exercises 2,4,5, and 6 for 3-3a.

Tuesday 1/26/16

For homework, please complete 3-1b parts 2,3,4, & 5. Then read pages 1-8 of To Build a Fire. Please take notes on the story and be prepared to journal about it. I've included the audiobook here so that you can listen as you read. Also, remember to write on your blog and work on your grammar. You're all doing great and making a lot of improvement. Keep up the good work.

Week 4 Weekly Writing

Please watch the following video.  In 200 - 250 words, please explain the difference between games and competition, explain your favorite explanation of why we play games, and tell me what your favorite game is to play. This is due before Monday at 8 am.

Monday 1/25/16

Today is the last Monday in January! For homework, please complete 3-1a parts 3,4,5, and 6. You should also complete a blog entry and get started on your grammar homework. We will have a quiz on The Rocking Horse Winner tomorrow, so read the story again to prepare for the quiz. Have a great evening.

For homework, please complete Reading 2-3a exercises 2,6,& 7. Also, work on your grammar, your blog, and your weekly writing. We will not have a journal reading for tonight because we have a quiz tomorrow. The topic of the quiz is CELL PHONES. See you in the morning.

Week 3 Weekly Writing

Read The Status of TCM Research in the following article. You only need to read that specific section. After you read about the research into TCM, please write at least 100 words discussing what the findings mean when Traditional Chinese Medicine is considered in  a scientific way.

Wednesday 1/20/16

Please, complete Exercise 2-1b parts 2,3,4,5, and 6 and share with me before 8 am tomorrow. Also, don't forget to write your blog post for today, complete some of your grammar quizzes. Week 2 Weekly Writing

Your weekly writing response will be a separate blog entry titled, "Week 2 Weekly Writing". Each week, I will post some form of media and you will write 200 words or more that answer the prompt attached to the media. This week, watch this video, and write at least 200 words in which you will describe which method is your preferred method and why. You should also describe what new information you learned from this.
