Tonight, please read chapters 5 and 6 of Animal Farm. Tomorrow, we will discuss chapters 5 and 6, then we will have a quiz covering the first six chapters. I have emailed you the worksheets for the two chapters. Remember, Animal Farm is found in 4-2d of SMRT.\

Friday

You have some homework this weekend. Please read Animal Farm chapters 1-4 and fill out the exercises that I have emailed to you. Here is a link to the pdf version of the book. If that doesn't work, it is located in 4-2d of SMRT, or you can google animal farm pdf. Chapters 1-4 are only 17 pages long. I have every confidence that you can complete the reading and the exercises in a timely manner. See you Monday.

Animal Farm!

Please read chapters 1 and 2 of Animal Farm and complete the chapter 1 & 2 Exercise for tomorrow morning. You do not have to write answers for the Discussion Questions, but please be prepared to discuss them in class. Also due tomorrow is the Author Biography Worksheet for George Orwell. Read Old Man and The Sea tonight. You are responsible for pages 1-46 tonight. Answer the questions as you read. Please, remember to listen to the audio book as you read.

Complete your Rough Draft of your essay. You must include an introduction, a conclusion, and your references.

Don't forget about your blog, your grammar quizzes, and the Author Biography worksheet I emailed to you that is due Thursday.

Tonight, as per our agreement, I am not assigning homework. However, if you do not read pages 1-23 of Old Man and The Sea, you will be required to read pages 1-46 tomorrow. Check out 4-2a and figure out how to write your references. It would be a good idea to get started on 4-2a tonight, as well. Here is the audiobook for Old Man and The Sea. Listen to it as you read the book. It will help you understand it better.

No homework tonight. You're welcome. You have to take the Michigan test tomorrow. Remember, Monday is our Chinese New Year potluck. Think of what food you want to bring. Make sure that you finish your blog entry for the day and complete your grammar quizzes.

Writing Homework

Please have three paragraphs completely outlined and turned in by 8 am tomorrow. We have a quiz tomorrow, the topic is obesity. Make sure that you write in your blog, and that you are keeping up wit the grammar quizzes. Have a great evening.

Writing homework

For homework, please complete an outline of one paragraph. You need to find evidence with details from your country, evidence with details from U.S.A. After that, you should come up with a topic sentence that describes the evidence that you found. After you come up with a topic sentence, you should start filling in your analysis describing how your evidence supports your topic sentence.
